Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have more pictures of *insert name here*'s work?

PLEASE take a look at the Facebook page. It is updated more frequently than the website and is filled with current pictures!

Do you do hair?

We have full time hair stylists on staff but I personally do not do hair....and you don't want me to either.

Do you travel?

Of course! We are happy to travel anywhere. My team covers all of NYC, Long Island all the way out to Montauk and Westchester County. The travel fee, parking & tolls are not included in price and are the client's responsibility.

Do you offer touch-ups?

We come in the morning/afternoon and work until everyone is out the door. If you would like us to stay with you until after your ceremony, we offer a day rate as well as a half day rate.

My wedding starts at 9:30am, do you guys wake up that early??

Yes we do however there is an early morning fee if the start time is before 7:00am.

When do I pay you?

Payment is expected when services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made.

Is Erica Does Makeup insured?

Yes we are fully insured!

Do you do eye lash extensions?

No. We offer traditional false eye lash application. If you have your own that's perfectly fine too but we come prepared with a bag of lashes for you to chose from. Lashes are included for everyone that is receiving makeup services. There is a fee for just eye lash application.

Do you have a bridal minimum?

We require a minimum of 4 people including the bride.

This is strictly enforced for holiday weekends. (ie. Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th)

I love your work! How can I reserve my date?

Unfortunately we cannot hold dates without a signed contract & a deposit. If we have a trial date and it is a month in advance, we hold your date until we meet with you. If you want to move forward, after the trial, we will send you a contract and you have 14 days to review, sign and send back to us. After your two week grace period, the wedding date is back up for grabs.

My wedding is in a year, how long should I wait to book my vendors? Is it too soon?

It is never too soon to book your vendors especially if you know who you want. We are in high demand and we hate turning away brides. Erica's Saturdays book about 6-8 months in advance.

Do you have any favorite vendors?

We love our friendors!! They are recommended because we know they put out consistently GOOD/AMAZING/WOWOWEE work, are super professional and we love to associate with them! If you love us you will definitely love them. Check out a list on the side bar here. We have event planners, bridal salons, photogs, videographers, stationary - you name it! We are not PAID to recommend these people, we think they are truly AWESOME.
